You will receive an email when your interlibrary loan item has arrived, either physically (in the case of books, DVDs, etc.) or electronically (in the case of articles).
Please pick up physical items (books, etc.) at the Circulation Desk in the Library. To access articles that have "arrived" electronically, please login to your ILLiad account and choose "view / download electronically received articles."
Please allow approximately 2 weeks for your interlibrary loan item to arrive. While some books, DVDs, CDs, and music scores may arrive sooner, please do not assume you will be able to get your item in less than 2 weeks, as you need to allow time for your item to be processed and shipped to the library. Photocopies of articles or book chapters are often available electronically in your ILLiad account in a day or two, but this is not always the case.
If you additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Interlibrary Loan office directly by email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 914-251-6428.
You can also use this form to submit a chat question. Try that if you're waiting too long.
This service is staffed by librarians from New York State, as well as other parts of the country. You will not necessarily be chatting with a librarian from Purchase College.
